Want to Help?

Here on Sibes.Org you will find information on almost any topic relating to Siberian Huskies and an endless list of links to other sites on the Internet. We hope you will find the site simple, clear and easy to use, however there are some things that may help make your experience even more productive and rewarding.

Browsing the Site

The simplest way to navigate the site is to use the menu at the top of every page to browse to a section of interest, then click on the names of the articles you'll find on each page.

Each section has a heading at the top and a short introduction that describes what you'll find there. Below this are a number of categories within that section that group together articles and links by topic. You can read the article or visit the link simply by clicking on its name.

Articles

Sibes.Org has a myriad of articles for you to enjoy on just about everything related to the Siberian Husky. These articles are contributed by our readers and by our staff writers, and almost all of them are written by people who've been proud to have a Husky call their place home.

If you find an article you like you can often find more articles by the same author by clicking Related Articles at the bottom of the page.

If you find a category you like and want to see all of the articles in it, click the (More in this category...) link just beneath the last item listed.

It's as easy as that!

Headings

The heading at the top of each page is your best guide - at a glance - to the contents of that page.

Pages with headings like this one are part of the general site and have the same name as the section you are currently in.

Of course when you're reading an article you see instead the title of the article, in place of a page heading.

Subheadings

Most pages have more than one part to them and you can use subheadings like this one to quickly find the information you want.

Subheadings also help you find particular categories of articles. Articles or links that share a common theme are always grouped under a subheading.

Searching the Site

There are many ways to search the site, but the simplest is to type the words you want to find in the search box at the top left, and click Go.

You can read more about how to run advanced searches on our Searching the Site page.

Common Icons

To make our articles more useful you'll find we've added a number of icons to the text of each article to help you idenitfy it's main features and points. Each of the icons we use has a specific meaning:

This marks a very important point that you probably should know. You might want to read these sections carefully to make sure you fully understand what's being said before continuing with the rest of the article.

Here you'll find the basic facts you'll probably want to know. Keep an eye out for these icons as they can help you quickly spot the information you need out of the rest of the article. Although the information is often essential, we do sometimes just include extra information here to help you understand the point being made in more detail.

Anything that's described here is a definite no-no. Please don't do it. We often make these points for the safety and wellbeing of you and your dog, although sometimes they might just be good advice and common sense. If you have any doubts at all, please consult your veterinarian or other animal care professional for advice.

Here you'll find extra stories, anecdotes and trivia that relate to the article's main subject. You can skip reading these sections first time through if you want to though, without missing out on the main point of the article, you can always come back to them later. Although sometimes trivia points like these do provide some of the best - and most amusing - insights!
