| Comments: | We love our husky dearly, I can't imagine owning another breed. he even sleeps with our 4 cats! full of love and personality. And I say this as I type with a broken shoulder from hiking in the woods with him!! He slipped in the mud going up a river bank and down i went. He waited patiently with me while while I figuered out how to get help!
We still go on our long hikes daily. He is good for the heart, both for love and for keeping my heart healthy and strong.
And yes he talks and says " I love You" |

| Comments: | i just go my husky pup 2 days ago and he is so loveable, everywhere i go he goes with me. the only problem i have is he howls at night he starts at about 3 30 and wont stop until i come down to get him, something that i shouldnt do but it keeps him quiet if anyone has any ideas to help settle him in please let me know he has a furry pillow, blanket, teddy bear and a hot water bottle. | Comments: | We had to put down our husky yesterday. Kayleigh made it past her 16th birthday so we had many great times and fond memories. We brought her home at 8 weeks so we feel very privileged to have had so much time with her. In the end she got very thin, dropping from a peak of about 64 lbs to 31.5 lbs. We tried for months to put weight on her, but although she ate, she couldn?t gain. She has left a huge hole in our hearts and lives, but it is only because she gave us so much. Treasure your huskies. They are wonderful companions. |

| Comments: | My one and only Husky so far was considered a wooly coat husky. I just came to find this out just a short while ago. I just thought she was different. She was beautiful. Black and white and gorgeous piercing blue eyes. The longest, silkiest coat I have ever seen on a husky. I miss her terribly! I have been thinking about getting another husky. I can't see myself with any other dog. I miss the way they "talk" to you. Her energy, her independence. Her attitude! But I can't find another husky like her. I know that the wooly coat (from doing some research) is looked down upon because of their coat and its dangers. But I take care of my dogs. I work as a vet tech and have my pets groomed regularly. I never had a problem with her. Does anyone know where I may be able to find a wooly coat puppy? I would greatly appreciate any help. Like I said, I miss my girl terribly and NEED a puppy to help me through. I know the puppy will never replace my old one, but she would help bring in some more life and love that i miss so much. Thank you! |

I'm very happy to have finally found a site like yours, commited to siberians. I found that you just do not own a dog or a dog owns you, but that having a sibe is a sharing experience like no other. They truly have an understanding and wisdom of nature that they are more than willing to share with us if given the chance. They are amazing animals! |

Not the fastest kid on the block built more like a quarter horse than a thoroughbred, but he is our best Husky! I used to own two Black and Whites in the States, but never did anything with them! Social sledding is a great sport and what these dogs are bred for, and it is fun for all involved I encourage everyone, who owns a Sibe (Arguably the best dog in the world) to come out to an event and try it for yourselves. | Comments: | My husky, Tess, is a 7 yr. old white blue-eyed princess! I found this website accidentally and am so happy that I did. I was looking for dental care information. Tess has a tartar buildup and the vet wants to clean her teeth, putting her to sleep for the procedure. I am uneasy about the anesthesia since she is 7 years old. If anyone has helpful info about cleaning her teeth I would love to hear it. I found a product advertised on the internet called Leba II Dental spray. If anyone has used this successfully, please email me and share it with me.

| Comments: | I was searching for articles on the life span of Siberian Huskies and canine dental care and came across this site. It was great fun to read the articles and look at the pictures! Our beautiful 14 year old Siberian is a princess that thinks we are her slaves! Of course now that she is older we treat her that way too. We live in the bush of Alaska and are not able to get to a Veterinarian for years on end, therefore we are having problems with her teeth. I am concerned she is in pain and do not want that. People are amazed at how old she is, she still bounces like Tigger, acts like a clown, and entertains any one who comes to visit us. Life would be dull without her during these long winter nights. She is the kindest sweetest friend a person could ask for, but we don't dare let her out without a leash---her heart just loves to run and I am afraid she would go and never find her way back! Thanks for a great site! |

| Comments: | our family has had its first year with a very active siberian husky named saska. she is copper & white with beautiful brown eyes. my former dog of 10 years was Cassie a red & tan kelpie and we quickly found out that the siberian was very cunning & as exceptional a dog as the kelpie. 13 months on and very pleased we got Saska, she has grown up to be a sensational husky and gives us endless joy. we have just adopted Saska's brother Cooper, a black & white brown eyed gentle giant, as he was not fitting in with his old home. both have just experienced their first week together and we could not be happier in our home. both are playing together with no problems and Saska has adopted Cooper with no issues. it is great to see them both enjoying each others company.
i will endevour to write some articles on our progess & share with you my joy at owning 2 husky's.

I just want to say I enjoy this site very much. A very good friend of mine that owns 2 Sibes sent me the link to check it out. LOL i think he's trying to say when I no longer have my babies I have now this would be a good option. Actually I think I have one now that is very much similiar to a Sibe. | Comments: | Our daughter Laura has owned Siberians for years. At present she has three...a 13-year old female, a 7-year old male and a 6-month old male. My wife Lynn and I have enjoyed Laura's Siberians and often keep them for her at our home and fenced-in back yard when she is out of town on business (she is a Sport Management professor at the University of South Carolina.) A note of trivia...Richard Mackey, one of my high school classmates at Concord High School, Concord, New Hampshire, moved to Alaska years ago and was involved with the Iditarod since its inception. He won the Iditarod in 1978 (by a nose!) and his son Rick won it in the early 80's, making them the only father/son team to win the race. I have become very interested in the breed and in following it on numerous websites. I particularly enjoy seeing some mushers still using only pure-bred Siberians, such as Earl Norris and Karen Ramstead, who became sick this year and had to scratch! Her Siberians are champion show dogs! We love Siberians!
