Just one look at a Siberian Husky puppy is usually enough to make the hardest of us melt and rush to bring one home, but there is a serious side to breeding and just as Sibes willingly accept our invitiation for them to live with us, we should be willing to care for them always and for their puppies.

It's a myth that Huskies are an agressive breed, but it's true they are intense and do sometimes enjoy playing games of dominance. It's also a myth that spaying or neutering your Husky will change their personality, but it can help curb their wanderlust and territorialiy. This, as well as the immense amount of time and money needed to care for an unplanned litter makes spaying and neutering a wonderful choice for pet Sibes.

Contained in these pages is information about breeding dogs in general and also some of the particulars about Siberians that every breeder should know.
