Adopting and Accepting a Husky Rescue

By Ross Pollock

In January this year I adopted a rescue husky Bela - her story was featured in the past issue of "The Husky Howler." (a publication of The Siberian Husky Club of New South Wales Inc, Australia) Although I have handled dogs for over six years this was my first experience with a rescue dog and I felt compelled to share my experiences partly to benefit those other owners who may add a husky rescue to their family and have access to this article. So here we go!

I don't know why all aliens are bug-eyed and look like some dog judges I know but I suppose there is a reason for it. And I still don't know why these aliens abduct people and never ask for a ransom (maybe they are just lonely).
